This month love is in the air and nowhere is that more apparent than with our featured skater, the one and only Titty Kitty O’Leary. This red headed ball of fiery goodness emphasizes the definition of a derby girl to the fullest bringing forthwith athleticism, agility, endurance, camaraderie, and an unconditional love for her league. As one of the OG members of VCDD and coming in to her kittyhood back in 06, her ability to bring the fury and intensity on the track has definitely come to be known as a force to be reckoned with. With numerous accolades under her belt including, best blocker, best pivot, MVP, Jell-O wrestling champ, captain of the Vendolls and Sucker Punch Sallies, and best a$$ (my personal fave), Titty Kitty continues to raise the bar for what it means to be so passionate and dedicated to the sport of roller derby. And she does it all with a smile and a laugh that will warm your heart, even if you are her opponent you can’t help but want to get a little kitty love too.
With such talent on the track is it even a question that she is just as phenomenal off the track? Outside of derby you can first hand witness the multi uses of her superpowers including quenching your alcoholic thirst while slanging drinks behind the bar, creating masterpieces of art in her tattooing, tantalizing your taste buds with her cake decorating, and serenading your heart with her karaoke singing. Yes indeed this pretty lil lady with unsurpassed beauty from around the way definitely will continue to encompass all that is unique in a roller derby skater and human being. As her wifey, Anita Slapahoe, I trust that you will agree with me in saying that there is nothing in the world quite like a titty kitty to nuzzle you with her hugs, power hits on the track, motorboats and leg humps.
