From the time I could walk I have played every sport you can think of (for the most part) and in Feb of 2007 roller derby found me. Yes some girl sent me a message on myspace and it started off like “if you can take a fall on a BMX bike, I know you can take a hit from one of us girls. come check out Ventura County Derby Darlins, it’s a new roller derby team.” I youtubed roller derby and I was hoocked. Feb 2007 my training began, 2-3 mouths later i had my first game. I started off as a blocker and if it was not for Potti Mouth Patty in 2008 I would not have fallen in love with jamming. skating by and knocking girls down with the star makes me feel like wonder woman. Yes i get knocked down, hit in the face, skate into a death traps, but that does not stop me from still skating laps around players and scoring those points. I skate for the Ventura County Derby Darlins, and if anyone could remember i could not stay on my skate the first week (how many times did i face plant that week?) I have come a long way and plan on moving forword because i can not be stopped, unless its work, lol, no not even work can stop me from putting my skates on.
